The benefits of 1:1 dog training

1-2-1 training is personalised to your lifestyle- making it as flexible and unique as you and your family are.
Whether your dog’s recall has gone awry, you’ve had enough of being pulled down the street and you’d like to work on lead walking, or you’d like to prepare for the arrival of a new member of the family (or something else entirely!), I’m here for you.
How 1:1 dog training works

Our 1-1 training options can either take place at your home, a local park, or online. Whichever option you and your pup feel most comfortable with. Whatever option you choose, we will use the time constructively making sure to trouble shoot any issues you and your puppy are having.
We will creating a training plan and go over fountation behaviours and expectations.
If you decide to hve multiple lessons, you will also benefit from our “Trainer in Your Pocket” which means that you can send your trainer videos and questions inbetween face to face sessions. Clients who utilise this service find that their puppies move at a much faster rate.
"As we were not first time dog owners, we hesitated at the idea of hiring a trainer. We assumed our basic knowledge about bringing up family pets was enough. We could not have been more wrong. Bringing up a dog in London is totally different to a countryside dog. We had absolutely no idea what we were doing and were utterly overwhelmed. Thankfully London Dog Trainers came to the rescue with practical skills and management to make sure little Daisy had the best start to life. We have never looked back and still continue training and workshops, just for fun."

“Jane has been consistent, kind and reliable and has given me a clear and concise program, both during our one on one sessions and then followed up afterwards with thorough and personalised emails that helped so much to remind me of the many things we learned each session. You evidently care very much about what you do.”
— Cara and Hugo

“Jane gave me the confidence with our dog, Wheeto. As a disabled owner, I was really struggling to see how I could cope with our dog and how he could cope with me. I am so happy and confident that Wheeto is happy with me and that he can have fun and we can enjoy each other’s company. I really would recommend Jane, she has changed our lives.”

Frequently Asked Questions
Work and family commitments can make it difficult to commit to a regular training class. Whether you’re starting from scratch or advancing your skills, in-person training gives us the opportunity to be flexible with our training, take a unique look at your dog and your situation, then tailor the training to you and your puppy or older dog.
Not all dogs and puppies feel comfortable in a class situation and the distractions can increase stress levels (at both ends of the lead) which then affect our ability to learn. 1-2-1 training allows for a more informative, focused and personal, breed-specific approach. Additionally, we can go at your pace and that of your dog or new puppy.
Not all dogs feel safe when strangers come into their home. Online training alleviates that stress.
We always want learning to be as stress-free as possible. Beginning our training journey together in the park, would be like taking your first driving lesson on the M1.
